Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp

Application Information

QUALIFICATIONS for admission to Summer Camp sessions:

  1. Classified as a person with intellectual and/or physical disabilities
  2. At least 8 years of age
  3. Able to use the bathroom unassisted

*Note: Although Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp accepts and encourages the presence of individuals in wheelchairs for summer camp, we may require that these individuals be accompanied by one member (family or staff) from his or her home throughout the duration of camp week. 

*Note: Campers with a history of incontinence will be asked to provide an extra set of clothes for the duration of the camp week. 

Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp does NOT tolerate aggressive or difficult behavior.  Individuals who need to be restrained are NOT candidates for attendance at summer camp.  Persons whose behavior is aggressive to the extent that he or she causes physical damage CANNOT be accepted at Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp.  Behavior of this type interferes with the safety and welfare of others and adversely affects the camping experience.  A history of difficult behavior must be noted on the application form.  Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp reserves the right to require a chaperone for any individual whose behavior necessitates it. 

ALL campers are accepted regardless of ability, race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion or sexual orientation.

Except as noted above, Still Meadows Enrichment Center and Camp is open to ALL children and adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. 

Application Process

SUMMER CAMP FEE

One-week.......................................................................... $175.00
(Monday-Thursday 9:00-3:00, Friday 9:00-2:00)       
                                                                                   

*Note: Receipt of this application does NOT automatically mean the sponsor or agent that previously paid for your camper will sponsor him/her this year.  It is YOUR responsibility to contact your camper’s sponsor to determine if they will pay the fee for 2009. 

REFUND POLICY

There is a $20.00 deposit which is non-refundable.  In the event a camper is unable to attend for whatever reason, the remaining balance will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least one (1) week prior to the session scheduled.
