Animals
Blackjack
is a very sweet Quarter Horse who was donated after a leg injury ended
his foxhunting career. He has fit right in at the camp and has adapted
well to his new job. We are happy to have him as part of the Camp Still
Meadows family.
Dusty
is a beautiful palomino Quarter Horse/Tennesse Walker cross with a lot
of personality. He was donated in spring of 2007. He is a calm horse,
which makes him ideal for our program.
We are excited to have him as part of our program.
Bones is a Tennessee Walker who was donated in spring
2007. He is a very sweet horse who is calm and steady. He has a sweet
face and a gentle disposition and he fit in with the camp routine instantly.
Bones will make a great companion to many of our riders.
Patches
was a resident of the camp for about 2 years. He passed away in the early
winter of 2004. He was the first horse we had here at the camp and taught
many campers about animal care and horses. We are glad for the time we
were able to spend with Patches; he was a valuable member of our family.
He is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
Mutt and Jeff are our two kittens that arrived in the
summer of 2006. We got to watch them grow up right in front of our eyes.
They are all extremely friendly and provide lots of love and cute antics.
They run all over the property but usually end up wherever they can find
people to who will play with them.
